Hey guys – mid 30s guy here. Not sure if it’s weight/muscle distribution or just getting older. One thing I found is that I can’t wear boxers or the boxer brief style because they seem too uncomfortable like there isn’t enough support. This never used to be an issue before but has really started to be annoying over the last year or so with more general discomfort which I think might just be because I’m getting older.

I’ve tried different brands and materials but still can’t be comfortable. Not sure if this means I probably need something more supportive (like regular briefs). (My dad mentioned I should just switch to regular briefs – which isn’t necessarily a bad thing – not sure if he’s right.)

Has this happened to anyone else?

Anything you recommend for style or favorite brand for being comfortable all day that might be worth trying?

Thanks, guys!

  1. What exactly are your issues with support? Are you just worried about your balls dropping further than normal? That’s part of losing muscle tone as you age of the cremaster muscle allowing balls to droop down lower.

  2. As I’ve gotten older I’ve switched to underwear with more support. I haven’t gone full on briefs yet, but I’m definitely a boxer brief covert.

I highly recommend SAXX. Very expensive. Very worth it.
