What’s the most difficult thing you had to do?

  1. I beat a possum to death with a shovel. It’s a lot more difficult than you’d think because…well… they play possum and you’re not sure its actually dead

  2. Accept the fact that I was born with genetic health problems that have no cure, that have severely impacted what I’m able to do career wise, have shortened my life expectancy and reduced my overall quality of health, and have a strong chance of passing them down to my kid(s) if I ever have any.

  3. Anything academic.
Seriously i suck at mainstream education. Apparently im a “kinaesthetic learner” which may be one reason but… I’ll be fucked if I can retain information even if i love the subject.

Learning by physically doing? Yup, im good with that.

  4. Probable advanced survival training with military. Luckily i have not needed to use it. But the training wasn’t cup cakes and sunshine.

  5. I am an engineer, and i applied once to a position where a national certificate of specific law knowledge was required (sorry, don’t know how to translate it properly to english). Preparations for the certificate exam took me 3 months of learning, 5hours a day, 8 hours during weekends. I got the certificate and although in the end i didn’t get the job i was amazed what our mind is capable of once you have strong will.
