Penis owners (or partners of someone who has used one)-what is your experience with a penis pump?

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve shrunk a bit. I’d like to get back to my former glory. Do these devices have any positive effects on the user, or are they just a novelty? I’ve watched YouTube urologists speak positively of them, but I’d like someone’s opinion with actual experience.

  1. In my experience a penis pump won’t give you anything that a decent cock ring doesn’t do.

Also it totally doesn’t make your cock bigger, just more engorged, just like a cockring.

  2. Penis pumps are effective at temporarily helping achieve an erection. They are [not effective for increasing size, in any way](https://www.healthline.com/health/healthy-sex/do-penis-pumps-work). In fact, there is [almost nothing](https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/sexual-health/in-depth/penis/art-20045363) that has been demonstrated to be effective at increasing erect penis size. The sole exception is a stretching device that must be worn consistently for as long as 6 months, and can be quite uncomfortable. There is some evidence that it can increase length between 1 and 3 cm, but the trial involved have flaws.

  3. In the UK the NHS urologists recommend ED sufferers use a penis pump as a form of physical therapy. This prevents smooth muscles of the penis degrading into collagen which is a vascular leaky substance. This therapy is also used pre and post prostatectomy as it leads to a better outcome.
The medical specialist even handed me a brochure for this company. https://www.mypelvichealth.co.uk/en/men/erectile-penile-health/erectile-dysfunction-management-penile-rehabilitation/somaerect-response-ii/

  4. I don’t even know what this is! This sort of thing ain’t my bag, baby. 🇬🇧
