And if you say well done you need to leave

  1. I’m a minimalist, and also dieting. So, fried or grilled with some garlic and salt in its own juices. Medium rare. With a side of broccoli, also with garlic and salt and some butter or olive oil.

  2. Sous vide to 134° then a quick sear on the grill and topped with garlic herb butter.

  3. as long as it isn’t well done with ketchup 😛

real answer: idk. however my wife usually makes it. she’s the grillmeister around these parts, not me.

  4. I have never ate steak in my life

I was close tho but it was cooked with wine and I’m Muslim so couldn’t eat it

  5. Rare with pepper sauce, or Kahlua. Grilled veggies on the side. Dark, strong red wine.

  6. Seasoned with salt and pepper and seared on a cast iron pan while being basted with rosemary infused butter followed by a quick trip into the broiler till 115 degrees Fahrenheit or so then a quick rest.

Other way is the steak au poivre at Raouls in SoHo

  7. Depends on the cut, but usually I leave it to the chefs digression, sometimes I ask for blue

  8. Chop off its head, wipe its ass, and toss it on the plate. And you be careful, now, I’m mighty picky about my steak.

  9. cast iron pan

coated in salt, pepper, ground thyme

    half cooked, flip

    add butter, garlic, diced shallot

  10. Somwhere between well done and medium, I guess. Don’t eat beef often, steak even less.

  11. As rare as possible, and with as little additives as possible, I really enjoy the taste and texture of raw beef.

  12. I depress my mandible bone to a 45 degree angle, insert the steak into it, and repeatedly use my teeth to chomp that piece of meat until it’s nothing but mush to which I then use my tongue to assist in the swallowing process

  13. I don’t. I can’t eat red meat that’s less cooked than medium/medium-well without getting violently ill and eventually I got tired of steak gatekeepers pretending their opinion on how someone else eats their steaks matters. I just stopped eating steak entirely because of steak snobs.

I will say ketchup on steak sounds nasty, though. When I *did* eat steak, I’d marinate skirt steak in teriyaki overnight and then grill it in a tray of garlic, chili, and lime. Most flavorful steak possible.
