TLDR in the end of post.
Hello readers, I have reached such a dead end that I decided to look for advice here.
A month ago, a girl dumped me. This could be the end, but not everything is so simple.
We still communicate, we have seen each other a few times and I know that she has feelings for me, but she left me because she started to worry about some of my mistakes that I made before, but she did not share these worries with me and for a long time I suffered because of it. After that, she firmly decided that she does not want to be with me, because she is suffering because of it. I always treated her very well, but sometimes she did not have enough of my attention, and in general, due to the specifics of my life, we rarely saw each other. I already offered to return everything to her and promised that we would be able to fix everything, to which I received a negative response.
She is very stubborn and if she has decided something, it is almost impossible to convince her.
Therefore, the question is, how can I make her believe in this relationship and in me and want to be together again.
I still remain the closest person to her, but she is still afraid to trust again.
p.s. This relationship has been tested not for months, but for years, so I don’t want to accept it and live on.

TL;DR my girlfriend dumped me and doesn’t want to be with me because the relationship hurts her but we still talk and love each other.

  1. Well, you can’t force anybody to do anything. Point blank.

But you can try to convince her that you are working on the things that she has mentioned. For each thing, you need to have an actual plan and you need to be working on each one. For example, with quality time you would need to have a plan and begin to make that time on how you can work less and make more time for a relationship. Obviously right now you would be using that time to work on yourself and attend to your other matters.

Truth is, you might never get her back yet this point. But at least you can make yourself a better person and a viable option for a relationship later.
