Depends on the birth control. And how careful you want to be. Some are more effective and some (like the pill) are up to you and your regularity of taking them.
If you are not sure, you are probably not really comfortable with the idea. I really don’t want to get preggers, so use condom despite being on the pill. That said, the condom broke multiple times before we realised the power of lube. Anyway, if you use the pill correctly, very small chance of getting pregnant, but possibility is not 0.

There’s always a chance. And the effectiveness of pills are good but depends quite a bit on how consistent you are taking the pills all at the right times.
And of course take care when using antibiotics.
