Is it weird to just wish a grad school classmate I haven’t seen in a few months that I have a crush on happy birthday?

There’s this amazing girl in my grad school class. I haven’t talked to her in months but I saw on social media that it’s her birthday. I just wanna wish her happy birthday that’s it, nothing more. Would that be weird if we haven’t talked in a while?
