So I met this girl on hinge. We talked for 2 weeks before meeting for a date (we were both really busy beforehand). It went really well, seemed to hit it off, ended with a couple of kisses. She agreed to meet again, said she had a lovely time etc.
We texted a bit afterwards, typically just one or two messages a day. Reaffirmed we both wanted a second date.
Then it took days to get a reply. We’ve agreed Saturday at 4, but it did take a double message from me after a few days without hearing from her. She seemed very up for it, suggested the time first etc, and the messages are good, effort went into them. But then it’s back to days without hearing back.
Am I reading into it too far to think something’s up? I’m worried she’s just being polite, despite what she says. Taking days to reply with some prompting seems a bit contradictory to what she’s saying/us going on a second date.

I’m kind of like her… Reasons – getting busy and being distracted with work/school deadlines, feeling like texting isn’t very fulfilling and preferring to just wait till we can see each other in person, not knowing what to say and thinking for some reason it’ll be easier to figure out later (it never is), not knowing what my schedule will be and thinking I need to wait and find out before replying, forgetting to reply till it’s 2am and I don’t want to risk waking them up – repeat for several days. So there can definitely be reason why someone might delay and it doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong.
