My boyfriend is often naked at home, he walks around the house despite my advice. It’s strange isn’t it? Or am I overdoing it?

  1. Erm… depends.

Like first thing in the morning and in the evening sure, but 2pm watching tv sat naked… nah

  2. It all depends on you. If you don’t mind it then leave it alone. But if it legitimately bothers you then you should keep bringing it up to him. Don’t feel like you have to settle for something you don’t like because everyone does it.

  3. In the summer, absolutely. Especially if it’s a lazy Sunday and I’ve not had to get dressed to go out anywhere.

  4. I don’t think it’s about the gender. Women also like staying naked at their own places 😉 it’s more about temperature and culture.

  5. From the men I’ve dated (2) yes being naked is apparently their natural form lol. And you know what it’s comfy, they’re home, and nowhere to be. Why not?

  6. Of course normal. When I was younger I used dedicate an entire day of being naked. Naked Thursdays where always my favourite sort of days. The fact he’s that comfortable around you to do this and that he’s comfortable in his own skin is wicked

  7. It’s not a gender specific question. But for some people it’s completely normal others it’s not. Your not going to change what he feels is comfortable, he might wear something when your home but he will still strip when your not.

The important thing is how much does it bother you. And how much does asking him to put a shirt on bother him. It’s small but it can be a thorn in a relationship.

  8. I love being naked at home I think every guy likes it all my friends did as well

  9. I’m always naked at home (f). So often that I’ve influenced a few of my exes to adopting the nude life 😂 staying nude, lounging nude, being nude as soon as I get home, being in a hotel nude even with the shades open, sleeping nude, I lay outside on the sun lounge nude.

It’s comfortable and I feel comfortable doing so.

  10. Nope, fully dressed at all times. Last thing I want are people’s fluid all over my shit.

Disgusting, we’ve moved beyond animals and should act like it. Tell him to put his dick away like a civilized human being.

  11. Different people have different habits. But it might be a family thing in general, not just men. My immediate family at least: Mom, dad, and older brother, as well as I (M) will walk around our house naked, but usually get partially dressed depending on the time of day and what day it is (evening on a weekend, vs. regular work week), mostly because we don’t have any place in our home that you can look in at street level easily (part of our house is underground in the front, it’s a weird pseudo 2 story that’s partially submerged underground.

So it makes sense for our house, nobody’s going to accidently look at us naked, and if they do, they really shouldn’t be trying that hard to look in at that point.

I live alone currently in an apartment, it’s also on the 2nd floor and I keep the blinds shut in the evening.

You aren’t nessisarily “overdoing it,” but it depends on your reasoning for why he shouldn’t. If you have windows open or have an “open door policy,” it might be a good idea that he at least wears underwear. Otherwise, it’s family culture dependent at that point. You might just have been raised differently to them, is all.

  12. What’s wrong with being naked at home? I like being naked at home and I’ve never thought that might be considered weird.

  13. Prefer to wear underwear when walking around the house over being stark naked

  14. My current bf is the only one who sometimes sleeps without clothes on. I only mind it bc then the bedcover smells like his balls lol but eh it’s fine, I just change the sheets

  15. Why do you think I lived in a nudist house for a while in grad school? Because all of us were comfortable with our naked bodies being in the same space together. I’m the type of person who is pretty open about things in my personal life and being nude is just another part of that.

  16. None that I’ve been with have. Some walk around shirtless / just in boxers especially in the morning but naked? Not in my experience. That doesn’t mean none do though.

  17. Despite your advice? Lol. Why would you “advice” him about that? Who cares? If he likes to be naked, he likes to be naked.

  18. I’m naked at home anytime I can reliably count on not being seen by a roommate lol

  19. Light sweatpants and tank top. Have a little self respect in the middle of the day lol

  20. Congratulations you have discovered naked men. Lol. Some men love to be naked at home. I don’t know why. It’s just their thing. Apparently there are naked women too. I’d never walk around naked, but I’ve heard some women do this as well. 🤷🏻‍♀️

  21. I like to be naked also. Actually I’d day try it yourself. It doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with sex. You get used to it pretty fast and it feels so much better.

  22. There’s no right answer, because every individual is different, regardless of gender.

And exactly what advice are you giving him?

  23. To me, a home isn’t properly my home if I can’t be naked in peace. I like being naked at home, it’s the one place where I don’t have to wear annoying clothes.

And it’s not advice if he didn’t ask for it or doesn’t find it helpful. He likes being naked, unless your advice concerns superior forms of comfort that he would enjoy more than being naked, then you’re not helping him, you’re just bugging him for being comfortable in the one place where his comfort shouldn’t be prohibited.

And it’s not a man thing. Every woman I have dated is a nudist at home.

  24. Had a house mate in college who would do this, he had the top floor room and would warn us that it was ‘naked time’ if we came up to his room to talk.

  25. My roommate and I, who are both women, walk around naked at home all the time! It’s not gender specific 🙂

  26. No thanks. I like clothes. And sometimes a warm blanket to wrap over me. And sometimes my dog likes to curl up on that blanket in my lap.

  27. Depending on the age, could be something they are trying out, a cry for sexual attention, or any number of things, but most likely, he is just comfortable that way and enjoys feeling the breeze if you catch my drift

  28. My ex did this from time to time…he also was packing and fit so why not? I’m usually in a sports bra and shorts myself. To each their own in their homes.

  29. Yeah and on really hot days I let my nuts out and have the fan cool them down = no shame

  30. I actually think that’s cute, he’s comfortable around you. I’d be annoyed if my significant other complained about something like that tbh. It’s his home too, let him relax.
