Hey all me (21)F dating my bf(22)M for almost four years a lot of ups and downs have happened during our relationship but we love each other to death few days ago I was at uni my best friend was sitting with her guy best friend in his car and I was sitting alone at my car she called me sho I can sit with them and I did(we were at uni and nth happened like at all), I didn’t think about it at all this was like last week today my boyfriend mentioned that he’d be upset if I got into a guy’s car like this action would’ve upset him I haven’t told him yet to avoid trouble but I feel so guilty what should I do
TLDR; I lied to my boyfriend about a small thing but I can’t help feel guilty about it

Tell him that when he said that the other day you panicked and lied, because you got into someone’s car the other day with a friend the other day and you didn’t want to upset him.
You’re sorry for lying in that moment, but you’re not sorry for getting in someone’s car, that’s not a reasonable boundary. Sitting in someone’s car isn’t cheating, getting a lift isn’t cheating, if he can’t handle you being near guys then he has jealousy and trust issues that he needs to work on.
