Hello all,

Quick question here. My (34)m wife (31) and I have been married for 10+years.

I’ve slowly broken her down, giving her freedom to fully express her sexual desires, and we are now talking about vibrators/dildos.

Any specific brands/products that you’d recommend for toy newbies?

Preferably something we can use together or she can use alone.

Thank you all for your help!

  1. I bought my wife a little bullet vibrator…when she first saw it, she called me a dirty perv – now she can’t that thing on her clit fast enough when we’re going at it…

  2. Imo start with a small vibrator and a small dildo, then as she figures out what she enjoys the most you can start upgrading. Some women want to feel full or stretched, others want a sybian to vibrate them in to eternity, and others just want to use a vibrator during sex with their partner.

  3. For a together toy: The we-vibe share is pretty cool. Basically goes in her, and you have sex while it is in. Vibrates her internally and her clit, vibrates your penis

I’m a big fan of the hitachi. You can use it on your penis. You can get a male sleeve attachment (search hummingbird sleeve). You can use it on her clit. You can buy internal attachments. A little bulk, but great for masturbating your partner

For something a little cheeky, the lovense lush is cool. Its a remote control bullet. You can tease her before sex (you can control it from your phone). She can use it on her clit while having sex. You can use it publicly (if you’re a bit risque). But all around a great bedroom toy.

If you’re going for a dildo, choose something body safe. So basically you’re looking at silicone (I wouldn’t choose glass or metal for a first dildo, but those are the other two body safe materials). Stay away from everything else. They aren’t sanitizable/completely body safe.

There are lots of small wand massagers. She could use that clitorally during sex. Every sexstore website will have them. Basically a hitachi with less power.

  4. My suggestion would be the We-Vibe Touch X. Very soft, good rumbly vibrations, and not big and intimidating. Read reviews, it’s almost always highly regarded.

Many of the other options mentioned are more advanced in my opinion.

We have a cordless Magic Wand and the We-Vibe Chorus, couples vibe. The MW is hardly ever used, it’s a boat anchor and quite large.

The Chorus is fun but not that practical for us most of the time. Hard to position and not a lot of room left for PIV sex with it in, obviously that depends on girth, etc. But it is fun, even solo, just not what I would consider a newbie toy.

The Pillow Talk Sassy is great as an external vibe, rumbly as well, and can be used internally as well.

Another good, more affordable option, is the Maude Vibe.

    Cheers!

  5. the satisfyer pro is an air-suction vibrator that really gets the job done. it has a bunch of different intensities from barely noticeable to “this will knock you out” so i think it’s pretty accessible for people who haven’t used vibrators before

  6. Don’t do it man, she’ll never be able to get off on just your dick ever again. No Johnson can compete with a machine. Trust me 😞
