An old friend I hadn’t spoken to in five years out of the blue liked an old instagram photo of mine. We were good friends that lost touch once we stopped working at the same place and our lives went in different directions. We started at our first job together. We used to see each other almost every day and go out partying every weekend with along with a friend group that formed at that workplace. My favourite memories were him and I and another friend that I’m still close with would go on foodie adventures. I assume it was just an innocent stalk and he accidentally liked a photo without realising. I’m curious what he’s been up to after all these years but it might be equally as weird to reach out. I also worry if I send a message, because I’m a straight woman and he’s a straight man it would come off as flirty or creepy. What would you do?

But I don’t see how it would be creepy for you to message him, when technically he did the creepy thing first, lol.

Well hearing this all i think liking an old pic can’t be a mistake(you’ve to go to profile then scroll all the way down).
Maybe he’s in bad situation rn so he’s reminiscing about all the old things or he’s just nostalgic about his old friends(maybe alone) either way i think you should contact him, and i don’t think it’s creepy if you knew him very well before(i’m telling you as a guy), just message him and see what he’s upto and maybe go back again with your trio again to some adventures.
