I (M16) have been friends with a girl (F17) for a couple months, but I started to like her and Idk if I should tell her

I (M16) have been good friends with a girl (F17) for a couple months, but I don’t know if she only sees me as a friend. I met her because we have a class together, and a mutual friend introduced us. At the time, I liked another girl, so her and my friends were giving me advice because I’m quiet and kinda weird. I asked out the other girl about 2 months ago, and she ghosted me. After that, I started talking to this girl more and I started to kinda like her. She’s really nice, but idk if I should ever tell her because I don’t wanna make things weird between us if she isn’t interested.

I’ve been talking to her a decent amount, but only in school. I have her snap and insta, but we’ve never talked outside of school. I wanna try to ask her out, but idk what to do.
