What do you guys think of a breakfast burrito?

  1. I think they’re basically the perfect breakfast food. Potatoes, eggs, maybe some chorizo. Hot sauce, cheese, a little onion. Yes.

  2. Really high on the list of my top breakfast foods, though I tend to skip the common inclusion of chorizo in favor of bacon or traditional breakfast sausage instead.

  3. I like them fine. I prefer ones that are not just bacon/sausage and eggs wrapped in a tortilla.

  4. They’re great, I went through a phase where I was making them for breakfast a lot but fell out of it a little while ago.

Usually would just do eggs, cheese, veggies, and salsa but sometimes sausage as well, or black beans.

  5. They’re super common on the West Coast. I love a burrito with hash browns, bacon, cheese. They’re tasty and inexpensive.

  6. I prefer bagels over tortillas so I usually make a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. I’ll have a breakfast burrito if that’s what there is, but at home the bagel is king.

  7. I actually prefer a breakfast sandwich using toast. The toast gets some good crunch going.

  8. Depends on who made it/where it was from. Worst case scenario, top ten breakfast food item. Best case scenario, literally the best food item ever concocted.

I understand not liking breakfast burritos if you’re one of those people who doesn’t like/can’t eat breakfast. But as someone who likes breakfast, it’s a rare day that some format of “breakfast burrito” doesn’t sound like a great option. And I mean like I have to actively be nauseous or have the flu to not want that burrito.

  9. There’s nothing better than a five-speed (Eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese and hash browns) off a roach-coach at morning break. With a Sunny-D. They would run you a tab until payday on the good trucks. I miss those days.

  10. Strongly in favor. I don’t like it when places put french fries in there though.

  11. My Terrible Ode to the Breakfast Burrito:

    The breakfast burrito is perfection

You can add eggs, cheese, meat and a lot more

It would rank very high, ten out of ten

For morning meals it serves as the anchor

  12. I approve of all and every meat torpedo, no matter if it’s for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

  13. In Colorado, breakfast burritos were my absolute favorite thing. The green chile just makes it! I live in TX now & just can’t find a breakfast burrito that hit the spot, sadly.

  14. An important human achievement that deserves to be far more widespread and accessible than it is.

  15. Not my cup of tea personally. I must prefer a nice plate of huevos rancheros.

  16. Eggs, potatoes, cheese, green chile (New Mexico green), all wrapped up in a tortilla. There’s nothing better than that

  17. That’s like asking, “What do you guys think about oxygen?”

I mean, is there a living soul who doesn’t love oxygen (or breakfast burritos)?

  18. I live in New Mexico. It’s a breakfast staple around here. So many different options too!

  19. As a Texan, I’m more fond of the breakfast taco. But if I want just one of something to fill me up, the burrito works too. When I can get it, Smoked brisket, egg, cheese, & salsa verde is my favorite. Chorizo, egg, and cheese, plus a sausage, egg, and cheese is my normal order.

  20. Murphy’s Mule Barn in Albuquerque, NM has the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. I went there regularly when I lived there.
