Here in my country there’s a few apps similar to Uber, but for longer trips.

It’s worthy because it’s cheaper than train/bus, since the driver would be making that trip anyways, so he just gives you a ride in exchange of a small fee. Different to Uber which is there to drive you anywhere you want to go.

I’ve been planning to visit Edinburgh during my time in england (study in Liverpool for a month), but the transport is absurdly expensive, like 90 Euro for a bus/train trip. In continental europe seems like the price is 20-40% of the price, in comparison.

I intend to make friends, but i don’t count on it to get a free ride, haha.

Thanks in advance 😀

  2. Damn shame Megabus doesn’t go from Liverpool to Edinburgh. Dirt cheap using that. Had a quick look and seems they only go to Abington and Glasgow which are both 35/40 miles away.

  3. Train/Bus to London £15 Lumo train to Edinburgh. Accommodation goes on sale a year in advance and August and September are no goes.
