I heard something about “Ted Cruz” being the “zodiac killer” despite being part of the senate but I can’t find the word killer in his Wikipedia page only him being called a nazi or lucifer. What is the relation between the two?

2. It’s a running joke. He’s not really the zodiac killer, but a lot of people really don’t like him because of his politics, and think it’s really funny to point out that we can’t prove he’s not secretly the zodiac killer, a 1970 serial killer.

    For a while Cruz was undermining his caucus with extreme votes that wouldn’t pass and might even give Dems an advantage just so he could claim to be the only real conservative or some such bullshit and try to campaign for president on how much people in DC hated him(which they did because they knew him)

    Jokes aside, Cruz is memetic for just how remarkably good he is at making people dislike him. Whether that’s the voting public or his colleagues in Congress.

    He’s got that aura and personality about him, plus the public moralizing someone does is directly correlated to how bad they themselves are guilty of.
