No matter how long I talk to a friend it always seems to go back to this one state where, people just seem disinterested in talking for long. And I’m not sure why that is. Am I just, boring to them? Or is something drifting the friendship or what’s going on? Like we use to speak alot when the friendship began or, it had a peak then it always slows itself.

On so many levels people just, confuse me. I suppose I should try and find who cares yet that seems so difficult.

Does anyone know what causes this or just what can stop this?

  1. Friendships (any new relationship really) have honeymoon phases where you get a boost of energy. After a while the phase enda and ypu return to your normal energy levels.

In addition at the beggining you have acumulated [insert how old you are] years of stuff to tell about. After you told all of it, you no longer generate enough experiences/stuff to talk about for a length of time.

Imagine you have a bush ripe with berries. You eat a bowl of them every day, but the berries are finite and you have to wait for new berries to grow/ripe. So what began as a bowl every day, became a handful every few days. The beries in the analogy are things to share/talk about.
