I’ve never felt all that attracted to the girls I’ve met on dating apps. I feel dating apps won’t work for me because it’s tough for me to be attracted to someone I haven’t met. And dates aren’t that good at building attraction. Might use the friends to relationship strategy instead. Anyone else feel the same?

  1. I don’t think dating apps work at all for me. I feel like I match up way more frequently and more compatibly just in everyday social life randomly then when I try to do it through dating sites and s*** like that.

  2. Sounds like you’re not matching with very attractive girls. You shouldn’t right swipe on girls that you’re not 100% attracted to. The algorithm will show you more less attractive girls if you do.

  3. I don’t think the friends to relationship strategy works well for men.

Maybe FWB to relationship can work well if the sex is hood enough to be damn close to mind blowing for her, but the platonic friends to relationship is way too much time investment by guys not perceived as attractive by the gal.

Just ask women out IRL. IRL interactions tend tp be remembered more than the one of a hundred matches they got last month.

If you ask out 100 women to coffee IRL respectfully and with a heartfelt compliment, at least 1-20 will say yes.

  4. I wouldn’t use “friends to relationship” with anyone from a dating app. It might just be that dating strangers isn’t the right move, and you will be better off meeting new friends irl.

  5. I swipe because I might be attracted. Tbh, I feel the majority of attraction is personality.

  6. I use Tinder, so I’ll speak on that experience here.

I do not swipe right on a woman who I find below what I’m looking for at time of seeing her account. Her bio, while helpful doesn’t sway the decision one way or the other. If I can envision having late night conversations and Sunday brunch with her I’ll swipe right. Otherwise, I swipe left on literally everyone else. I always have new likes and often miss them.. but I’m choosy and don’t mind that. This works well for me and often leads to great results.
