What’s a sign a 2nd date is not happening?

1. If there’s no chemistry on the 1st. If they’re rude to servers. If they’re boring.

   It’s not the *first* sign, but it’s definitely a sign.

3. If they’re creepy, boring, annoying, rude or just meh.

   Lots more which is why I don’t go on dates.

6. Being extremely late without a reasonable excuse. No chemistry, rude to waitstaff. Saying something racist, sexist, homophobic – or revealing they like someone who is any of those things. Being too pushy about wanting a kiss, touching, etc at the end. Being cheap.

7. He was rude and unpleasant

   Or he ghosts me after, that’s a pretty clear sign

   Sexist.
   Misogynist.
   INSISTS on paying.

11. Showing up drunk or high, talking over me, assuming that we’re going to one of our homes afterwards, anything misogynistic or bigoted.

13. When saying goodbye isn’t reluctant at all, as others have said here, rude to waiters, even if all dates aren’t dinner dates. Personally for me even if a first date goes well, a second date won’t happen without him making an effort to schedule it, simply because I’m going out on first dates with people who do.

14. Just boring. You find yourself making all the effort to have a conversation. They don’t ask questions. No jokes and or any meaningful conversations.

    You just get the ick about them. Conversation is bland.
    Only talk about themselves. Won’t shut up long enough for the waiter to get our order.
