I was light sparring with a guy who is lighter than me for the second time ever . First time he asked me not to beat him up and we just sparred at 20% power. Second time I asked him to light spar with me and the guy starts going 60% power and full speed.
At first I thought they were accidental power shots but after the 4th one I realized this guy was not light sparring. How would you have reacted to this?
I have 2 big bruises on my head now and feel like an idiot for not fighting back…. It’s super frustrating specially cause we agreed to go light before we started and I was holding back ever single punch I threw.
