how do you act on yourself when you feel attacked when conversing with someone especially when the other person dont mean any harm?

  1. I totally relate to this. In reality I fake smile and dont say anything. When I want to get better at is to reflect, figure out what triggered me and then release it. Remembering things are rarely personal helps but is really easier said than done

  2. I feel the best way is to ask the person to elaborate on what exactly they are trying to convey and let them know your interpretation so they can correct your interpretation if incorrect.
