Just ordered something from H&M on 4th Apr, but inside Evri, I have the option to change the delivery option to: deliver to my local parcelshop. Evri have got the parcel today at their processing hub (the step before ‘on its way’). So, should I change it to my local parcelshop (only 5 minutes walk away) or keep the delivery going to my doorstep; Which would be quicker?

  1. They would be the same time. However if you work and dont want to have failed delivery attempts, its better to use parcel shop. Also sometimes delivery to parcel shops is cheaper

  2. If you’re at home then delivery to your door will be quicker. If you’re going to be out, collecting from a parcelshop later that day will be quicker than arranging redelivery on a different day.

  3. It *shouldn’t* matter but you’re less likely to have a failed delivery attempt to your door. If the driver is running late and wants to skip a parcel they’ll just pick a random address instead of an entire batch of Parcelshop parcels.

Unfortunately Evri are so unreliable that does need to be considered.

  4. I’d say go for the local parcelshop – that way you’ll get your package even quicker than a doorstep delivery!

  5. Parcelshop becuase the herpes/evri driver will know exactly where that is and likely has several parcels to drop off.

  6. Given that they only get the correct house about 1 time in 3, I’d go for the parcel-shop option.
