I’ve been previously working as an assistant manager in a recovery center within the sober community. I finished high school, some college but no degree, spent most of my 20s drinking. I’m sober now, was looking into a more peer-to-peer or counseling based genre of career within the recovery community, but I’m not sure if that’s what I want to continue doing. I’m 32, I have some pretty severe arrested development from spending my 20s an alcoholic. I want to find a job that speaks to me and works for me that I can actually be good at doing. All I know about my purpose is I like to solve problems and navigate situations in a logical, gentle, and non-biased way, mostly social problems, sometimes political problems, I have a high IQ (decade old military IQ test results say so at least) but am not amazing with computers.

Does anyone have any field suggestions or similar struggles?
