Alright I know it might seem dumb but I’m now managing things for my parents especially now that they’re in their elderly age. I’m…literally scared of talking to people like…..even a telephone call won’t make it any better. Anyways I’m trying to figure out a mystery credit that I noticed appeared on our telephone bill. The online platform doesn’t reveal much so I’ll have to make a call…bummer.

So is this approach okay? Ummm hello good afternoon I’m looking for some assistance in querying information about an account that has a huge credit added to it.

EDIT:
For extra information I haven’t been out of my house for…quite a while. I’m currently in my 30s, I do simple wood work and some online jobs. So yeah my experience is quite….limited.

  1. I take it this probably the first time you’re calling customer care. When you call, ask them how they are, if they give you their name use it. Explain to them the reason why you’re calling, chances are whoever you get won’t be able to help you. So in your case, it should be something like, “I’m calling about a my current telephone bill.”

It might seem like it’s not sufficient information but trust me it’s enough. If they’re able to access your billing information, chances are they’ll be able to identify where this mysterious credit to your account came from.

At this point you should be good. They’ll be asking for various questions. Of course even though this may be common sense knowledge but make sure you have your last or current bill at your side.

    I wish you good luck.
