Just found out that my 2/3 of my go-to sock brands aren’t sold in USA, and the third is apparently sold at Sak’s for 30 dollars per pair. I like comfy socks but until I win the lottery that’s not going to happen.
What’s your favourite brand of socks for business-casual usage that won’t break the bank?

Fox River is 11 to 16 per pair. They are the only socks I wear. I have 1 pair that I still wear from 2009 that I wore through 3 deployments, and the only reason I know which ones they are is because they are my only brown pair.
I have had excellent life and comfort from some branded as Slazenger. They are an athletic equipment and apparel company that specializes in golf and tennis. At least for daily and athletic purposes.
Duluth Trading Company is another to consider. I’ve been pleased with the quality of everything I have ordered from them.
I don’t wear dress socks often enough to have an opinion on those.
For camping and hiking, whatever good all-wool socks I find works.
Smartwool. Get them when they’re on sale at REI or evo.
I like darn tough. The have a lifetime warranty.
Vans
Just your regular Haines socks or whatever you can buy at Walmart. Unless I’m doing pretty serious hiking or running I don’t really care about the type of socks as long as I’m wearing something.
I buy the made in the USA ones at Sams club.
I just buy Hanes socks that are like 8 pairs for $20.
I’m a fan of Bomba socks. For a pair of men’s calf high socks they run about $16 a pair.
Honestly they’re one of the more comfortable pairs of socks I own. They have a mild compression band across the middle of the sock that feels nice if you’re on your feet a lot.
I was unaware of socks costing more than 20 dollars lmao. You can get brand new in the package socks at thrift stores and goodwill! That’s what I do.
$20/pair?! How about for a pack of 12? Yes, I’m cheap lol
I just buy whatever is cheap.
I’ve never once considered a brand much less found myself with a go-to brand that would ever sell for anything close to $30/pair.

Whatever is in the middle at Costco
Nike Dri-Fit Technology
I’d have to be out of my goddamn mind to pay more than 20 dollars for a pair of socks.
Gold Toe have been a very good brand for me.
Dickies. Hanes has gone to crap.
Pair of thieves makes durable socks that look good and stay dry.
REI has reasonably priced merino wool options.
Bombas
1 pair under $20? Balega barely there.
They’re a running sock. Perform well in both warm and cold weather (not talking extremes). Well fitting but not compressing. I have slightly wider ties, my feet aren’t wide but my toes have splayed while wearing barefoot shoes regularly.
