Men of reddit, have any of your social media accounts been banned / suspended / deleted for the most outrageous reason and what did you have to do to get it restored?

1. I once dropped the “gorilla warfare” copypasta on my friend’s timeline as a joke and got banned. I appealed it and got my account restored.

2. Use a VPN and you will never be banned

3. My reddit account got perma banned because I had the word “black” in my sentence. Reddit fixed it very fast and unbanned me in a few days. My brother also got banned because they thought he was a second account or something. Both accounts restored.

   I find the reddit report system a bit broken as most things can be taken completely out of context and get you banned instantly

4. A friend of mine got a reddit permaban for saying that the British are too stupid to understand that Megan Markle is probably not as unlikable in real life as Rachel Zane, her character in Suits. Pinged for racism for saying she’s unlikable.

5. I’m permanently banned from non-binary Reddit for commenting that it is not a good idea to throw away your relationships with family members who love you just because they don’t validate the absolute truth of your demisexual enby existence or refer to you with zee/zey/zem pronouns.

   I can live with it.

6. I got permabanned from /r/funny, and no responses from the mods either as to why

   No idea what happened

7. Reddit’s famous for banning people from trashier subreddits solely for having conversed one time with “The Bad People”.

8. I was banned from Facebook. No idea why, I didn’t post anything, and didn’t offend anyone. They just banned me with no explanation.

   What did I do about it? Nothing. I say good riddance.

   Because of non use.

   Nothing. That reason was so ridiculous and stupid that I didn’t bother.

   Funny thing is that I don’t even remember creating that our this(current) account.
