Some people said because I like gay porn I am not a lesbian but bi. I don’t think that has to be true. Lots of straight women like lesbian porn but don’t ever see themselves getting naked with a girl. Straight men can watch straight porn even if it has a guy (or guys) in it. But some people are really insistent that lesbians who watch and get aroused by gay porn must be bi and in denial.

  1. Not really ime. We’re all just monkeys who get worked up watching other monkeys fuck. I think a lot of people would eventually see a biological sexual response from their body watching, or hearing, just about any signs of sex between other people.

Also, a lot of people outside of the bounds of heteronormative gender identity and orientation report enjoying gay porn over straight porn because of the lack of a gendered power imbalance. So that’s something to consider.

  2. It is what you make of it. You can learn unrealistic bad sex practices or you cna learn good. It’s all in how you apply it to real life.

Same could be said a out anything. Do you learn how to beat supernatural enemies from watching the Avengers? No, but you might learn how to be a good person or crack funny jokes

  4. By “gay” do you mean lesbian or are you actually talking about porn with men having sex with men?

As far as straight women, I’ve both read about and personally known actually straight women who liked lesbian porn. People watch a lot of porn that doesn’t represent their real life sexual attractions. The only way to know if you are truly bi or lesbian is if you want to have romantic/sexual relationships with women in real life.

  5. Here’s a definitive answer, one of my all time favorite facts. It comes from this book,
What Do Women Want? : Adventures in the Science of Female Desire, by Daniel Bergner. I think in chapter one.

A woman sexologist researched sexual arousal to porn by gender and sexual orientation. In her lab, she measured erection in men and wetness in women. The baseline was a sunset: zero arousal. She showed the subjects animals having sex, naked people alone, and porn.

These were the blockbuster findings. Sexual orientation makes no difference, and women get turned on by display of sexual arousal in monkeys as well as humans. Men were very different. If a photo didn’t have a human male, gay men stayed limp. If a photo didn’t have a human female, straight stayed limp.

Whereas, all women got wet at seeing baboons mate. Less wet, but wet. here’s the most interesting response. A naked man with a limp dick did not make the lesbians wet. A naked man with an erection did make the lesbians wet. Because he was sexually aroused.

The way to measure women’s wetting is with a glass phallus that contains measuring devices.

  6. I think you have this completely wrong personally as I see sexuality not as who you are having sex with, but what genders you are attracted to physically. Straight men don’t watch gay porn. Bisexual men watch gay porn and feel aroused. You don’t have to actually have sex with other men in order to be bisexual. Hell you could be attracted to both genders but be abstinent. That doesn’t change your actual attraction inclinations.

  7. Personally I think it’s just that most straight guys are systematically conditioned to be really gungho and specific about their heterosexual penetration fetish. There might even be a psychological competitive response to seeing other men.

So I wonder if women, gay or straight, are just more likely to be aroused or entertained by the sex rather than the genders.

Poeple are only so hype about this meaning something because it threatens their own sense of identity.
