Is a concert too date-like of an activity?

A male colleague suggested going to one as we were both keen on classical music. I was keen because I genuinely like the music but was wondering if this is too date-like of an activity?

We barely see each other in the office as people in the company tend to wfh/in office on different days but sometimes he’d messaged me on zoom some links to concerts or music he likes or presumably thinks I would like. I have never initiated any conversations though. So yeah because I have barely seen him much in real life (he’s fairly new), I’m not sure what kind of person he is to judge whether the suggestion of going to see a concert is too date-like. I told a few other colleagues and two seem to think it seems date-like whilst another thinks maybe he’s just lonely and that males and females can be friends lol (well, I mean they can, but again, I just don’t know this colleague well enough to judge).
