Sometimes, it’s pretty hard to notice.

  1. Look if that lil light on the projector is shining or not….or alternatively, just ask them

  2. Honestly you cant always know and there are tonnes of different ways… one common one is when they take your words and opinions out of context, in a way that highlights there insecurities or self interest

  3. They start telling you in great detail how you feel. Or how someone else presumably feels even though that person never told anyone about having such feelings.

  4. It’s just about remaining or being differentiated… once you kinda detach yourself from their negativity (which projection usually is), you’ll realise their reaction and reactivity to you or whatever situation/thing/person is kinda invalid/way out of proportion…

  5. When they get extremely emotional and upset about stuff that doesnt really seem to have any real impact on their personal life at first glance. People generally dont have the capacity to be very emotional about stuff that doesnt directly affect them, even though they might be interested in the subject and vocally agree or disagree, fx im a big supporter for saving turtles and try my best to support it but its not an emotional topic for me, ive never seen a turtle, they dont live anywhere close to me, it wouldnt really affect my life much if they died out.
