I have many big goals and I believe I have a lot of potential but social anxiety is holding me back from making connections with people and building rapport

So whats the first thing i should do? Therapy? Social events? I dont know really

Any advice is very much appreciated 🙂

  1. Cbt can help, start small and with a goal like asking people for help or an opinion in a shop.

  2. Therapy should always be a priority. When you injure yourself, the first response should be to see a doctor.

    It can be overwhelming to get therapy, it’s hard. On the side, get good sleep, exercise and try your best to have a good diet.

    Secondly, leverage your environment: any groups you can join where you’re familiar with the people, use it, it’ll make socializing a lot easier.

  3. get extremely poor. then you’ll have to go out and talk to people for work.
