Why can’t people be more committed to plans and communicate better?

i am not the best at social skills but am improving

so whenever I try to make plans with someone, I try to stay committed to the plan to the very best of my ability… I will go out of my way to stick to a commitment i made with someone

but most of my friends and study buddies seem to have no care about it

their communication skills also suck ass in that they leave me on read when i ask them to meet to do a homework (like usual)

but they are the people who have amazing social lives and many close friends…

and theres me who’s just left to rot even though am sure that im much more committed than these people (in terms of making plans and stuff)… i have no close friends and always outside the friendzone
