So I’ve (F27) been thinking about getting a Mirena as my main method of birth control. I have kids, I don’t want more, I hate other more conventional types of hormonal birth control (like the pill, and Implanon). I feel like it’s the only solution for me, so I’m pretty set on getting it.
My main concern is that my sexual partner (M40) and I have recently begun to explore vaginal fisting. I’ve been absolutely LOVING it and I don’t want that to change. I’ve already spoken to my doctor about it, and the advice I received was pretty generic and didn’t really assuage any of my concerns.
Does anybody have a Mirena here who also partakes in fisting/uses large toys? Does it hurt? Can your partner feel it? Does it disrupt either of your experience in any negative way? Would love to know! 😊

My understanding is the IUD goes up past the cervix and into your uterus.
There is no way sexual activity of any kind will be able to reach it up there.
I love fisting and getting my cervix really roughed up, sometimes my guy can essentially give my cervix a hand job while he’s fisting me.
Because of this, I’ve decided to opt for non IUD birth control options, I also have some increased risk factors for the IUD to be rejected or perforate me.
