Same as title. I have been a homebody my whole life and had a sheltered upbringing and am from an immigrant household. I feel very uncomfortable whenever I have to leave the house and have always had issues with that. I started a new job working from home too and am making less money than before. Most of my friends are the same way. I recently downloaded some dating apps but whenever someone wants to meet in person I get scared. Anybody got a way to deal with it? I really want to go out more and meet people but it’s the invisible wall that’s holding me back.

  1. You can’t really develop a relationship with someone without taking that next step, in these cases which would be meeting in person. You could try and go through a long distance relationship and build up to meeting each other. You could also start gradually, texting, to phone call, to video call, to then meeting soemwhere you’re comfortable with
