Hi! Maybe this isn’t the right place to ask (sorry!). Still, I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for resources (books/films/podcasts/youtube channels) that educate you on exciting/topical things in a not-too-monotonous way. I feel like I’m only really focused/in the know on one or two relatively obscure areas and my own personal hobbies and struggle to make convo around more general topics like history/politics/philosophy. I’d love to be one of those people who seems to have a real breadth of understanding. What helped you?

  1. It might also be a bit specific, but I really like “99% invisible” podcast by Roman Mars. Each episode is about a design/architecture-related topic. But they are generally interesting enough for everyday convo.
