Okay, feeling very depressed right now. How do I move on?
I feel like I will not get this out of my head, so how do I avoid this from being my number one insecurity?

  1. Depends on the situation. If you have a career path/goals/your own place/job. You are fine. Not everyone has to work on themselves.

I got dumped when I was 19 because the girl thought I was lazy because I played video games and I wasn’t grown up enough. She works at the same gas station still years later. I still play video games comfortably in my house with my stay-at-home wife who very much appreciates me and who I am.

  2. This almost happened to me. I started working on myself and becoming a full adult and me and her are happier than ever. And trust me, if I can do it anyone can. Maybe just work on yourself and let someone else reap the reward that is the best version of yourself

  3. **It will take some time but if they left you then that is *their* loss, not yours.**

I don’t know what you look like or your personality but every guy is handsome in his own way. Also, based on the small bit of what you said, I get the feeling that you’re super nice and sweet.

Don’t give up hope. You’ll find someone, I know you will. Someone special who sees how great you are.
