Yea mate. They can pretty much charge what they want.
I never had a key replaced or lost.. put I’ve seen people charged extortionate fees because it’s an emergency call out..
I left key with 2 separate close friends for this reason.. we like 30/35 minutes away from each other and they drive so it will be easy to get to each other in an emergency

Any emergency locksmith you find via google results will cost a lot (if that is what you did).
Best advice (but too late here) is to find the details for a reputable local 24hr locksmith and save them in your phone for when you might need them.

But my main advice would be **always ask how much it will cost before you give them the job.** Always.
