I recently returned to the UK after 10 years abroad. To dry clean and iron a shirt used to cost one pound twenty before I left. Now I can’t find anywhere cheaper than 4 pounds!!! Is this normal or do I just need to look harder? Based in Hampshire.

  1. You won’t find any dry cleaning services for 1.20 any more

    I’ve used Timpson in the past and found the service good and reliable. Not sure of their current price as it’s only listed in-store not online.

    If you’re unemployed, they will do it for free if it’s for an interview

  2. A lot of places around me ( Cardiff )will have 5 items for £10 offer pretty much 52 weeks a year.

  3. What so you don’t think it should have gone up in price in 10yrs? The minimum wage in 2013 was £6.31 an hour, today it’s £10.42.
