i matched with a girl in a speed dating event and we exchanged our Instagram.
was planning to ask her out straightaway (the weekend after the event), but she said she alr got plan for her family and friends (regardless of the event) and suggested we meet two weeks later.
i am totally fine with that and could understand and we planned to go Karting and she was quite excited about the idea.
so the following two weeks we’ve been busy with our lives anyway and i tried to text her once in a while to keep the flow going – as to be fair neither of us are big social media users, and she also loosely replied.
and now the weekend is approaching and i texted her asking whether she’s still down but no reply so far…
was wondering whether i should still follow up ?

What universe are you in that the weekend is rapidly approaching
Because your post is a few hours old I assume that the date will take place in 4 or 5 days state. So she still has 3 days to respond to your message. But if she has not answered on Thursday, the date is canceled.
In my eyes, the date would be canceled if she does not respond by tonight.
