  1. My husband and I did premarital counseling through my childhood pastor. He did it for us as a wedding gift. We ended up doing it through zoom since we live 2 hours from him. It has been really beneficial for our marriage and we use what we learned every day and still learn new things from other older couples who have been married for around 40 years. We definitely recommend it. I’m not sure about your area and your faith but you can find therapists in your area that do it or if you have a Church you are apart of, most Pastors will do it for free or for a small fee if you aren’t apart of a congregation. I chose my Pastor because him and his wife left a huge impact on my life and I look up to them plus they are really sweet people. He even did my baptism when I was 13 and I knew then I wanted him to do it for us. I expected to have to pay him but he said not to bother and that it was an honor and a gift for him to do it for me. The Psychology Today website is usually pretty good about listing therapists in your area. I have used it to find Psychiatrists before.
