Long story short, saw her while I was waiting to get picked up. We haven’t seen each other for 6 years and we both still recognized each other which is surprising since I changed my appearance a lot. We talked and it was a bit of awkward there was a lot of silence, but it makes sense since we just met. It’s been like this for a 3 days straight this is how it goes: greet each other, talk about our day, and just silence. How can I make a conversation with a girl I just met?

If you know her from before, ask her what she’s been up to since then. Share what you’ve been up to. Try to find common ground or ask more detailed questions about what her day was like (but don’t get too personal/creepy). Share more detail about your day and any situation that she could empathize with.
