What do you think about skinny jeans?

  1. i like them, when i feel like dressing with a nice top. but it’s not an everyday thing

  2. I don’t personally want or like to wear them due to the tightness over the knees and in the waist area, but they can look nice on other people who do like to wear them.

  3. I love them. High waist skinny jeans are great for my build. I just bought my first pair of boot cut in over a decade, though, so we’ll see if the changes

  4. I’m over them. Sold all but one pair. Prefer straight or a wide leg now.

  5. from ages 12-21 you’d have to rip my skinny jeans out of my cold dead hands, but now that i’m mid twenties i’m starting to hate them and prefer more loose fitting jeans instead

  6. They’re generally the only kind of jeans I’ll wear, and I think most people look great in them.

  7. Hate them and super uncomfortable to wear. I hate that 98% of the jeans that City Chic had over the past 10 years at least, were skinny jeans. They had one pair of uncomfortable bootleg jeans that came in either dark blue or black and either petite, regular or tall. And occasionally had other pairs of bootleg jeans that were definitely more comfortable, but they were few and far between because SKINNY JEANS ARE IN STYLE!!!!! Doesn’t matter if they are in style, not every fat woman wants to wear skinny jeans.

  8. I have muscular calves and it was torture wearing them — they either had to be huge on top (resulting in a saggy diaper look, defeating the purpose of being “skinny”) or strangle my calves and I would have deep marks in my legs at the end of the day.

I look good in straight legged jeans and jeans with a bit of a flair and I will never go back to skinny jeans again no matter how fashionable they are. I’m too old for that shit now. They look best on actually skinny people and not so great on muscular and/or plus-sized ones.

  9. I can’t wear them, and I wish they weren’t all that was available. Lots of stores have advertising for other styles of jeans even in-store but don’t actually have them to try on, which is annoying.

  10. I like them and wish I could find one actually cut to fit me. I’m 6’2″ and they’re usually too short, or the ankles are too small for my feet to get through, or the crotch is so insanely tight that people 100ft away can see I’m trans.

  11. I hate skinny Jeans! They cause me to develop rash all over my legs and are itchy

  12. They are the superior style of jeans. They’re fitted to the ankle so there’s no worry of the bottoms getting scraped and ripped to heck or soaked and they’re also more aerodynamic. They’re more flattering of more body types. I’m on the heavy side and short so wide leg and flared jeans make me look stumpy/boxy.

  13. I love them, and they’re a pain in the ass to find now. I just recently bought a pair of tapered “slouchy” high waisted jeans and they’re comfortable, but I couldn’t imagine them being the only kind I wore. I feel kinda… frumpy in them sometimes.

  14. I like them, they fit my body shape much better than previous pants I used to wear.

  15. I haven’t found any that look right on me. But so many other people look great in them. I haven’t given up, but at some point I might just need to accept they aren’t for my body type

  16. I look horrible in them and find them uncomfortable. I don’t care what other people do

  17. i thought i was just a jeans hater all my life… turns out i’m a skinny jeans hater and love jeans now that i have straight leg/ baggy ones

  18. I wore them exclusively for a decade, it’s only in the last year or so where I’ve started branching out to other fits. I still like the look of skinny jeans but I quite like having other options now.

  19. I’m petite and skinny jeans mean that I don’t walk on my hems, especially since I can no longer wear heels or platforms.

  20. I don’t like them. I don’t wear clothes I can’t defend myself in adequately. They’re just too tight for to defend myself if needed.

  21. I used to wear bootcut for the longest time but this past year I’ve really gotten into skinny jeans.

  22. They don’t do much for my proportions, but they look great on some folks. I hate how one cut of jeans being trendy makes it so much harder to find other cuts.

  23. Never liked them, never owned a pair, glad they’re out of style.

    I’m a millennial/gen x cusp.
