1. This is a compliment — he could also be referring to your skin being soft.

    This is definitely a compliment. As others have pointed out, he more than likely meant your skin is soft. And I’m making a generalization here, but when women say men are “cuddly” it’s usually a nice way of saying that we’re kinda chunky but not in a bad way. When men say women are “cuddly” it usually just means we like cuddling with you, and probably isn’t related to your physical attributes but more how we feel about you.

21. I think soft is the term I like. Because I have fat. But I hate the connotation with fat since it’s been used as an insult my whole life.

    But I like soft. That’s how I feel. Like a soft place to land. I love me a gangly scrawny dude too….

27. As a fellow skinny guy he likes you and finds your body attractive. Us skinny guys get cold really easily and women who are on the heavier side are so much more warmer and softer to hug. Remember we’re skin and bones so we don’t get to hold soft things. While you may feel self conscious, he loves your body as it is rn. ☺️

29. I’d love to have a girlfriend who’s got a few extra pounds or however you want to call it, yknow where she’s got the soft, cuddliness that’d be reight nice to cuddle with. Girls that are too skinny are an instant turnoff to me. I’d rather have a girlfriend that’s overweight than underweight.

    It’s nice to snuggle with a softie and just fall asleep.
    Women healthily have a higher fat percentage than men (hence boobs) and that SO doesn’t bother us.
