Ladies, what do you think about shampoo brushes?

  1. I love them. I don’t honestly know if it’s done anything for my hair growth but it feels nice so I’ll keep using it.

  2. I like them just for a little scalp massage but otherwise I don’t see total benefit.

  3. I avoid scrubbing my scalp. It tends to increase rebound greasiness. When I had long hair, I did have a conditioner brush, but it was really just to help get it distributed thoroughly.

  4. They’re great. They get all of the oil, dead skin, and product off of the scalp. It also feels good having your scalp scratched.

  5. As someone with recurring dandruff problems, it sounds delightful.

  6. Love it, my hair is quite heavy and can get really annoying if I try to lift it myself when it’s wet.

  7. I love mine.

I’ve got really long hair, and it’s so useful getting the shampoo / conditioner through my hair.

  8. I enjoy using one but mine got mildewy fast so I tossed and didn’t bother replacing.

  9. I found it to VERY helpful when my post menopause hair loss was FINALLY under control via proper thyroid and all my baby hairs were coming in and getting weighed down by product. Now, out of habit, I still use it.

  10. I love it! I have really long fake nails so it’s a life saver. Also a little massage can stimulate growth

  11. I’ve used them sometimes when dealing with scalp issues but am not sure they actually did anything, other than feel nice.

  12. When I have fake nails these are a LIFE SAVER!! No more losing nails from hair washing

  13. I have thin, fine hair and I don’t think it does anything for growth but my scalp feels cleaner, and i have more volume when i use it

  14. I’ve never heard about such a thing until reading this question. I had to google to see what it’s all about. Not for me.

  15. I have very thick, medium length hair and I’ve noticed much less hair loss since using mine!

  16. Maybe I’m an idiot but I cannnnnot use it during a shampoo or my hair tangles like crazy. Probably user error.

  17. Scalp brushes are amazing. I don’t know that they really do anything for the beauty of your hair but they sure feel good

  18. Is that like those brushes with sponges in the middle that you use to bath horses?

  19. I bought one but felt it was pretty much the same as using my fingers except now I had another item cluttering up my shower. Also it tangled my hair more than just my fingers would. Never used it long enough to notice if it had any benefits for my hair or not.

  20. I love them. I switched to sulfate free shampoo and this helps me get my scalp cleaner and this has allowed me to stretch out my wash days from every other day to every 2-3 days.

  21. Based on explanations of this, yeah hell no. Sorry but no. I will just use my fingers and nails

  22. I love them. I have even converted my partner into using them and he loves them too lol. It feels like an amazing scalp massage, and it feel so much cleaner too

  23. Great on the part of my hair that’s shaved, not to great on the longer parts.

  24. A lot of people ask me how I managed to keep my manicures pristine and chip free. Shampoo brush will help tremendously whether you have natural nails or fake nails.

For concerns of hair tangling, you are not supposed to swirl it with long hair. Run it through your scalp starting from front hairline one strip at a time.

  25. honestly i don’t think it feels that great to use but my scalp feels less oily when i use it

  26. I love mine, I don’t wash my hair very often (once a week?) and use product most days so I feel that mine gives me a nice head massage and scalp exfoliation in one. I also don’t love using my nails to work in the shampoo. It’s also great around my hairline where makeup finds it’s way in. I’ve only had it for a few weeks but I’m really enjoying using my one!

  27. I love mine! Definitely makes me feel more clean but to be honest I forget to use it half the time, mostly cause I’m lazy.

  28. I tried it once, it didn’t really work that well and kinda hurt. If I need to, I just use a good clarifying shampoo every now and then!

  29. I love mine. I feel like I have less buildup on my scalp using it. And the massage is nice as well. I even convinced my husband to use it.

  30. I have very dense curly hair, I like them because sometimes it’s hard to get the pads of my fingertips all the way to my scalp. Also, sometimes (most times) I have a chip/snap in my nail and my hair will get caught in it and snap/break so using a shampoo brush eliminates that worry too.
