Hey so I have a date with a state level basketball player soon and I am a nerd/medical student and I know nothing about the sport can anyone suggest what all basic things should i know before i talk to him about basketball ?

  1. Nothing. If they’re interested in you, they’ll enjoy talking about/teaching you about the thing that they enjoy doing. Just like I’m sure they’ll ask about the medical field which they probably also know little about.
