Downvote and I’ll delete or the mods will if this breaks rules.

I have a this habit that I’ve been doing since maybe 5th grade. I get to a point when I get angered enough by a friend that I’ll just bail on the whole friend group.

Why am I like this? I’m really good at making friends and people see to like me so why can’t I ever keep friends? Why I am I constantly bailing and going NC with them?

  1. You know, I must say I have had that tendency too OP. In my case, I think I often had “perfectionist” tendencies, and so when someone would violate them, it was “off with their heads!” Like people had disappointed me, so screw them.

(I’m also kind of an introvert, and that probably made going No Contact easier)

If this applies to you, searching “Nirvana Fallacy” might be useful. A lot of the examples are about formal decision making, like for work, but I think this also applies to me and how I relate to people too.
