I know this is not a question but wanted to post this. I’m hoping to uplift anyone else who is still in school.

I just graduated!

I conquered a learning disability, not having any money from my parents, not having knowledge on how to navigate school, and worked full time (with overtime) at a factory while going to school online.

Thanks everyone for listening

  1. Same here man. Just doing my last assignment. First generation as well, came from poverty. Started with a votech just to get myself better wages, then ended up going to school for a BSEE. Now I’m a Master Electrician and Electrical Engineer.

I echo your sentiment. Stick it out. It’s worth it.

  2. Congratulations! Job well done! I look forward to the same for my son who also has a learning disability.

  3. My best friend just went to his college bachelor’s degree graduation today at 36. I think his 4th attempt at going back to school.

  4. Congratulations! Struggling with a learning disability can be very stressful and very difficult! Be proud of yourself! What did you graduate in?
