End of year exams are coming up and I haven’t made a single lasting friend, there’s this one girl who I’m positive I will get along with as friends but I don’t know how to speak to people, I’m fluent in English but conversation are hard.
I don’t want any “just talk to her” business because I’ve heard it a thousand times.

Just talk to her
I’m kidding, but really just say you see her often and you wanted to know what her name was. Then the formalities (My name is RaptoAlpha1, how are you? etc.)
You can ask her what subjects she’s taking and try guess what she wants to do in the future (career-wise) idk make it fun. If you get stuck just say it was nice talking to you and you want to keep in touch with her. Then add her on social media (try to do it there so you both have each other)

Start small. Try and say “hi” to her everytime you see her.
Since she’s in the library maybe ask her what book she’s reading to start a conversation? Maybe sit near her in the library and start the conversation there, that way you are in close and constant proximity
