19F here and just got my first bullet / vibrating egg thing? Well, a vibrator… Prior to this, I’ve been making use of the shower head or the bidet ever since finding out at a young age that the water pressure felt good against a certain part. For reasons such as sustainability (gotta save water lol), being limited to only doing that in the bathroom, and reading that the whole water thing isn’t very good for your vulva + pH system there, I decided to try a vibrator and see how it goes…

But it didn’t feel how I was expecting? I didn’t know how I would feel using it, but it was almost kind of lacklustre or disappointing. Of course it could just be that I was nervous or I didn’t set the right mood, but after reading posts of people’s experiences with vibrators (particularly those who’ve really taken a shine to their toys), I’m starting to worry that there’s something wrong with me or that maybe I’ve overdone it with the whole water thing and it messed up me and my nerves down there.

I don’t really want to be so reliant on the water pressure thing, and I’ve never really reached climax with it either, just that it’s felt really good with it, so one of my intentions in this new purchase was to help me get to a climax. So now I’m not quite so sure what to do.

  1. ugh same girl, i’m 20 and just cant get off to vibrators. not sure if i use it wrong or not.

  2. I find vibrators are pretty lame for me to achieve orgams I CAN but it’s eh. Then again shower heads never worked for me either.

Clit sucker toys but! oh boy! 😀 Amazing.

  3. Vibrators have such a range of sensation, it can take some exploration to find the right toy for you unfortunately. You also may have to spend time trying to get used to something new. It takes me many sessions to really get a feel for a new toy, even ones I now couldn’t live without. There’s good information on some toy review blogs online but basically in your standard vibes you have ones that are more ‘buzz’ and ones that are more ‘rumble.’ I’d guess that after the pressure of water, deep rumbling vibes might be more your style. Beyond that, I totally second trying other toy styles like a suction toy. It’s a different sensation than a water jet but it’s got a similar intensity and pinpoint application. Best of luck and happy exploring ☺️

  4. Maybe a buzzy vibrator is not for you and most bullets are buzzy. If you want to explore toys nonetheless, try more rumbly vibrators, suction toys or grinding mats.
If you’re in a shop try the type of vibration on the tip of your nose, if the buzzing is too tickling and feels uncomfortable, it will probably feel the same on your clit.

  5. I tried many different vibrators before I found one that works for me. Turns out that most of the ones I was trying were too buzzy, but I didn’t know the difference. I could get off with them, but it just didn’t feel all that great. It almost left me feeling numb down there, and I was afraid I may be damaging nerves beyond repair. The magic one for me is the We-Vibe Tango. It’s about as deep and rumbly as it gets, and it doesn’t leave me feeling numb.

  6. What is it?

There are vibrators and then there are vibrators.

Also every woman is different and what does it for one may well not do much for another.

If you are all about the clit stim then my wife swears by the WeVibe Tango. Very powerful and tiny. Doesn’t give the high pitched vibrations that cheap bullet vibes give.

Wand: super powerful but not as focused. My wife says it makes her go numb after a while though as it is vibrating over a large area

Satisfier type: my wife doesn’t like this although it makes her come in no time, it also makes her squirt which she isn’t keen on. Lots of women love this type of vibe.
