What loophole you know that almost feels illegal to know?

  1. I don’t know if this counts, but if you ever want the best hotel service of your life, it’s very easy to get.

As soon as you arrive, take a good look around at everything. Ask innocuous questions about policies and amenities (“Does the wifi extend to the pool?” “What are the hours for the business center?”, shit like that). Don’t be overly friendly with the front desk associate.

They will think you might be auditing them and they will treat you really well. (We thought anyone with questions might be an auditor.)

  2. I’m not sure if all companies are the same but wouldn’t you have to do that on a day their expecting a visit? Surprise visits by corporate etc were never a surprise, for us we always knew they were coming so extra work is done the night before

  3. if you don’t ask your mom, she can’t claim to have said no

seriously though, my former health teacher taught us once that you can write big firms and say that their products are lacking or not up to par anymore/had a fault in them and they might send you stuff back. I only did it once after finding a piece of plastic in my chocolate and got enough to last me for a month. It is a little d*** move so only do that with the companies who make more than enough, no small businesses or start-ups.

  4. This may be common knowledge, but I just learned that if single and you make less than $250K selling a house you’re not subject to capital gains/tax. If joint the same applies at $500K
