So my girlfriend moves out of her dorm to go back to her hometown which is 2 hours away from me, and we’ve been together everyday since February. I’m so used to her being here at my apartment everyday, and I’m having a very tough time saying good bye, and am new to the long distance relationship thing, so any advice or words of encouragement would help! Any suggestions would help as well!

  1. Firstly you have to be stoic about it. What I mean by that is yes it can be very emotional to say goodbye to your girlfriend but you have to be the calm in the storm. It’s not as if you are never going to see her again. Two hours isn’t that bad. You also have to consider whether it’s going to be worth it as well. That is something that you are realized over time and so will she too.
